The Angry Octopus Bureau of Paranormal Research is a fully sanctioned SCP Foundation agency contracted to design a “plausible deniability” campaign to conceal the activities of the Foundation and the existence of anomalies.
Angry Octopus operates covertly under the cover of an indie video game company in Southwest England.
Angry Octopus operates covertly under the cover of an indie video game company based in Truro, England. We are currently in pre-development of a narrative horror action adventure game and a visual collection of the anomalies that the SCP Foundation has documented.
Our game art promotes the weird and horrific. Our stories border on “the insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity”. We narrate the futility of righteousness, the hypocrisy of political authority, and the purity of primordial fear. We exploit adversarial, vindictive, and morose themes to paint our worlds in the colours of gothic beauty.
Our heroes are not clichès – they are neither noble nor virtuous. They are troubled, dark souls with relentlessly violent lives and tragic ends.
Our workplace culture is inclusive of those who cherish gothic horror, weird tales, and Eldritch cosmicism.

The Compendia Anomaliae collates various visual data on documented SCP anomalies. Photography is our principle method of visual documentation however illustration from first hand testimony, computer generated imagery, and AI algorythms are all tools to this end.

The story is told as an interconnected anthology utilizing interactive elements triggering scripted environmental and narrative vignettes.
The player is aided by Mrs. J, an SCP agent ( later revealed to be SCP-5094 ) who communicates with Agent D via a mobile phone and communication terminals scattered around The City.
Agent D encounters several anomalies roaming the uninhabited city. The player will decide whether to engage, evade or reincarcerate these SCPs in their containment chambers.
